Political Bites

Now that's what I talkin' 'bout!  Finally the A.S. has a great recycling plan: recycle red plastic beer cups.  Given current the UCSB policies, there should be a huge supply of  this pesky little cups that seem to escape from the responsible party scene in IV and find their way to public property.  

UCSB Non-Judgmental Bite

Close call on Saturday night.  Almost another Attias?  Who made the "poor choices?"  The idiot who drove while under the influence or the party group playing music at 2:00 a.m. on the streets of IV?   Perhaps young Master Cotteral is merely a music critic?   Please, no hate email from the we-have-a-right-to-wander-the-streets-drunk-all-night lobby.  

UCSB Judgmental Bites

Sustainable campus?  Were does UCSB plan to get the 1 million gallons of water it uses annually to make itself sustainable?  Perhaps UCSB should start a course in Environmental Accounting  that would teach people how to balance environmental accounts based upon press releases or how the EA (environmental accountant) "feels" about it.

Speaking of water, UCSB is beating up Goleta Water in court.  So much for the benevolent good neighbor policy.  I see an increase in fees coming...
