UCSB Still Searching for the Bottom
UCSB Non-Judgmental Bites
Eastern Michigan University (AKA EMU, AKA Easy
Murder University) may be worse than UCSB when it comes to covering up
crime. Perhaps there should be a EMUdarkside website? In case
you missed it, EMU, just like UCSB, is overly concerned about its
image. Just like many other schools, EMU
lies on its Clery Report and conceals serious crimes. EMU
student comments.
UCSB Judgmental Bites
UCSB continues to reach as low as possible to
find the bottom of the barrel. Amazingly enough, there seems to be no
bottom for the Nexus. Every year I hope that some one with some adult qualities
and a little character will do some good with the publication. Alas, it does not
appear that this is the year. Here is a good example of why
UCSB has a reputation of being a "scummy place."
What a wonderful window for the world to see the type of character building that
Chancellor Yang tells parents about here at UCSB. And of course this
article really helps with the image. Another ringing
endorsement for the school's image is its hilarious crime problem: here
is what passes for humor at UCSB. Oh, BTW, this column only describes a
few of the 2,700 arrests made in IV each year. I suppose there merely isn't
enough space in the Nexus to print all the hilarity.
Wow,
UCSB is really touting its Green goodness. Golly, I guess they just
don't have time to actually be green in real life
trash, burning furniture and general disregard
for the environment are not uncommon in IV among the UCSB glitterati.
UCSB continues to support illegal
activities. Latest ludicrous quote from the Admin: She was released from
detention and did return to the campus to pursue her studies, which was what
the university hoped for all along, Desruisseaux said. (From
the Nexus). Of course they also support rapist, felons in general, and
dope dealers. So, I suppose one should not be shocked about covering up for a
few illegal aliens. (Sorry, I meant to say "undocumented
Americans"). My guess is that she got in-state tuition or a
scholarship. Of course, now that she has been victimized by the Feds, UCSB
will shell out big bucks for her defense and see to it that she gets a free ride
from here on out.
Political Bites
Rules
waived again. If memory serves, that is how Cervin Morris became
A.S. President. And what a fine example of the UCSB culture
he made:
felony assault, misdemeanor assault, driving recklessly and under the influence
are but a few of his laurels
and all before his 21st birthday . Why make rules when UCSB never
enforces or follows them? Anyone know were Cervin is today? He
should be in the class of 2008 as it appeared that he was on track for a six-year
degree.
Respectfully submitted,
