Why is it we have to keep arguing with people who continue to contend that UCSB is a safe place.  How about checking out this video the next time you feel like explaining how safe it is at UCSB.  Can anyone tell me why Chancellor Yang hides under his desk whenever there is an allegation of rape at UCSB?  Actually he does take action.  He sends one of his spokes-holes out to tell the media that "There are no winners in this outcome, it's a very sad situation."    That's about as far a UCSB's feckless administration will go in condemning the rape culture at UCSB.

Update:  Frimpong, the convicted rapist,  was yesterday denied a new trial and will be sentenced next week.  Can someone please put me out of my misery?  With all of the nonsense that has been said about the convicted rapist, Eric Frimpong, the one thing that has not yet been said that would round out the panoply of denial is the phrase: "Rush to judgment!"   Please, someone, anyone, accuse the judicial system of a "rush to judgment."  That way we will have had the opportunity to hear every single asinine comment that could possibly be brought to bear against society for mistreating poor Mr. Frimpong.

I can only hope that Frimpong's supporters, including a certain lady lawyer, will no longer find fora for their oppressively turgid tomes.   These chardonnay swilling, Volvo driving, sanctimonious, Yuppie Swine (present company excluded) make me nuts!

Editor's comment:  The editorial board of the Dark Side would like to make its position clear: Banjo is a flaming white bigoted racist.    The white racist establishment has victimized Eric Frimpong.  Clearly there has been a rush to judgment in this case (oops, it just slipped out).   The victim's statements, the police investigation, the medical reports, even the rapist own statement (which was  undoubtedly altered by the fascist cops), the prosecutor, the expert witnesses, the judge, and the jury are all part of a "vast right wing conspiracy" (attribution to Hillary) to convict this poor African immigrant who was tricked into coming to this country and provided with unlimited opportunities just so the white racists could stage a phony rape in order to send him to jail.     Wow, that was a really long sentence.  Yeah know, sometimes long sentences are a good thing.
