Happy Days Bites

A new website, The Bright Side of UCSB.com (vs. The Dark Side of UCSB),  is online - but where is the content? 

Apparently the hypocrites at UCSB have no problem with the Bright Side of USCB.com using the initials UCSB in their URL.   According to the Bright Side website, UCSB really really likes them a lot - this may explain the lack of enforcement by the administration.  And those little stinkers that run UCSB still claim that their legal attacks upon our website were not content drive - riiiiight. 

The Dark Side wishes the new website every success and hopes that they will actually address a few issues when they get up and running. 

Political Bites

A pox on the student political  parties - talk about juvenile whining, these people make the Reps and Dems look like adults.  Let's hope the winners do a better job of running things than they did with campaigning and living up to agreements.  

Chaz, in keeping with your stated policy of being open to everyone, I am available for lunch at any time to discuss the Dark Side's views about the AS and UCSB in general.  I am sure that you are interested in incorporating our thoughts into your action plan for running the AS.  Have your people call my people and we'll "do lunch."   

UCSB Judgmental Bites

A UCSB dorm gets tough with 17 students and moves to evict them.  Sounds like a good start, but one wonders about the grief that these dorm rats inflicted upon the other students who had to live with this nonsense for eight months before the administration acted.  How about next year throwing the bums out in the first two weeks of the year rather than the last four?
